Los Angeles - One Moorer Management (OM2) is proud to announce the signing of screenwriter and actor C. Joab Davis to our esteemed client list. CJ is a thoughtful and inspired writer and we are very honored to be his reps!!!
Based in Greater Chicago, C. Joab Davis is an award-winning, optioned screenwriter, as well as an actor of voice, stage, and screen. He's an avid reader of history with a background in upscale restaurant management and as a sommelier, which is how he became interested in studying James Hemings, America's first celebrity chef. He wrote "Serving Jefferson: The James Hemings Story," now an optioned screenplay.
He is also known for his acting role in New Money (2017) a crime drama based on true events about a struggling pet store worker who kidnapped her estranged father after he cut her out of his will. The film won two awards at the Indie Memphis Film Festival and was nominated at two other film festivals. The film is currently available to view on Prime.
Davis has several projects in the works and is thrilled to be part of the OM2 family.
