One Moorer Adds Literary Management Division

Los Angeles - One Moorer CEO James Moorer announced today that the company will add a literary management division. One Moorer is a media and management company that specializes in book-to-screen projects and seeks to amplify underrepresented voices.

With One Moorer Management, aka OM2, it plans to shepherd clients through the process of  intellectual property adaptation for the screen, as well as adaptation of screenplays into short stories and books. 

"I'm thrilled to represent writers on their journey in the industry. It's been an incredible ride so far, founding One Moorer, and we're just getting started! The last few years have been extraordinarily difficult with the pandemic shutdown, strikes, and major corporate changes. We're looking at writers who have put in the work, have a clear idea of where they want their career to go, and will collaborate to get to the next level."

OM2 expects to sign several clients for its 2024 slate.
