One Moorer Adds Diverse Trio of Women to Staff

New Year, New Venture! One Moorer’s CEO James Moorer is pleased to announce the company is expanding its team and launching several new services aimed at authors and screenwriters.

From January 2025, One Moorer will offer classes and mentorships for writers, including tutorials on how to adapt unproduced screenplays into short stories and novels, and how to build their brand as writers. In addition, the One Moorer team will help with script pitching, query letters, book proposals, and provide coverage for authors and screenwriters with completed projects.

NICOLA PITTAM joins One Moorer as Director of Author Services. She is an award winning author and screenwriter who recently converted her The Rebel Pianist of Majdanek script into a bestselling novel, which was sold to Mardle Books. Her biography of actor Christian Bale was also a best seller, winning several awards.

SHAKESHA WILLIAMS joins the One Moorer team as Director of Brand Strategy, meeting industry expectations for genre conventions and social media engagement. As a filmmaker, celebrated screenwriter, showrunner, and award-winning podcaster, she brings a wealth of experience in emerging technologies that affect the film and television industry.

LAURA CRISP DAVIS remains as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the One Moorer family of brands. She is a bestselling author, publisher, screenwriter, and script supervisor.
