OM2 Signs Kenneth Hicks and Jibreel Turner

Los Angeles - One Moorer Management (OM2) is proud to announce the signing of the dynamic writing duo of Kenneth Hicks and Jibreel Turner. We connected with them through a consultation with Roadmap Writers, and are extremely excited to work with them!

Turner and Hicks met while attending Kent State, and they have been collaborating for over fifteen years. 

Kenneth Hicks, originally from Cleveland, credits his high school teachers with encouraging him to pursue writing. After college, the friends began their journey as co-writers while each starting families and taking different career paths to pay their bills until writing could sustain them.

Jibreel Turner, a disabled Army vet from Philadelphia, served in Afghanistan. Turner suggested Hicks join him there to work as a defense contractor, and he did, both for the job and the opportunity to be closer to his writing partner. In 2011, Hicks told an Ohio newspaper he was willing to "give a little now for the eventual reward of writing for a living, even if that meant working over 80 hours a week in a war-torn country."

Together they've written novels, poetry, short stories, and screenplays. Their lifelong dedication to the written word is reflected in their storytelling. We can't wait to see what this incredible team will do next!
