Originally from Mantua, New Jersey, Marquita began her acting career with the independent film THE CONSCIENCE (2015) and was subsequently cast as an extra in APOCALYPSE (2015), Oprah Winfrey's GREENLEAF (2015), before landing a supporting role in the pilot of IN OUR LIFETIME (2017). She has since become a screenwriter, producer, and director, successfully filming her first short film, THE PRAYER WARRIOR (2021).
She specializes in inspirational stories that connect deeply with the hearts of audiences.
