A SHOT OF JACK makes Best of IWC List

The One Moorer team would like to congratulate our CEO James Moorer, whose feature thriller script, A SHOT OF JACK, is one of the winners of the 2025 Best of the IWC Screenwriting Competition.

Woohoo! Way to go! This is what sets our team apart from other screenwriting services: we're all working writers so we understand the time, energy, and mindset it takes for success in this challenging-yet-rewarding business. 

The International Writers' Caucus (IWC) was founded in January of 2022 following the dissolution of the Writers Guild of America (West) Caucuses. The program was a way to integrate writers into the Guild and help prepare them for full membership. Over 150 vetted, professional writers found each other and fashioned its own powerful infrastructure to create opportunities for their collective membership. From those passionate beginnings, the IWC was born. The IWC membership is notably diverse, with over half of the Caucus identifying as female, a quarter as LGBTQ+, some as veterans, neurodiverse, disabled, First People, Middle Eastern, Latinx, AAPI, African-American, immigrant, multi-ethnic, and more. Their diversity serves the mandates of ever-expanding modern writers' rooms.
